Release Summary
We're extending our bookmark functionality to the Task List page. Building on the success of bookmarks on the Client List and reporting pages, users can now save and quickly access their favourite filtered views of tasks—making it easier to manage workloads across different services, staff members, or deadlines.
What's changing:
We're adding a Bookmarks button to the Task List page, positioned in the top right-hand section between the existing Bulk actions and Export buttons.
Key capabilities:
- Save filtered views – Create bookmarks that capture your current filter settings (service, staff, date ranges, progress, etc.)
- Quick access – Click a saved bookmark to instantly apply those filters to your Task List
- Share with your practice – When creating a bookmark, users can choose to make it available to all users in your practice
- Manage your bookmarks – View, apply, and delete bookmarks using the familiar modal interface you already use on the Client List page
The bookmark functionality works the same way as it does on the Client List page, so if you're already using bookmarks there, you'll find this immediately familiar.
Why this matters:
- Faster workflow – No more manually reapplying the same filters repeatedly. Access your most-used task views with a single click.
- Better organisation – Build a personalised library of task views tailored to how you work (e.g., "Payroll tasks for Bethany", "Overdue VAT returns", "Records received this week").
- Team collaboration – Share useful filtered views with colleagues across your practice, to help everyone work more efficiently.
- Consistency – The same bookmark experience across different pages means less time learning new interfaces.
Find it here: Look for the new Bookmarks button in the top right of your Task List page, between Bulk actions and Export.
Why you'll love it: Build your own library of personalised task views—"Payroll tasks for your staff", "Overdue VAT returns", "Records received this week"—and access them instantly. No more manually reapplying the same filters repeatedly.
