With BrightManager when adding or updating Clients, you can add a Staff Task and a Staff Task Monitor in the relevant dropdowns. To view this, go to Clients and select the relevant client from the list.
The Staff Task and Staff Task Monitor sections are on the left-hand of the screen. Use the dropdown to expand.
Use the dropdowns to select the staff member to assign each service and task. The same process is used for Staff Task Monitor. When happy with your selection, click Update Client in the bottom right.
What is the difference - Staff Task / Staff Task Monitor?
The staff member entered under Assign To will be assigned this task when it is next generated, and it will appear on their Task List.
The Assign Monitor To will see this Task on their Task List although it is not assigned to them. A tag is added to the Task on their list to indicate who is responsible for it.
Note: If a staff member leaves or is moved, you may need to reassign their clients or tasks. you can follow the same steps as below to change them - when you click Update Client it will pop up asking if you would like to reassign their existing tasks as below.
If needed, use the toggle for Reassign Existing Tasks and click Save. This will reassign all existing tasks to that staff member. You can view this in the task list under Staff Tasks for the relevant person.
