BrightManager helps you keep your client list accurate and organised with its Merge Duplicates feature. This tool allows you to quickly identify and consolidate duplicate client records, ensuring all client information is housed within one file for each unique client.
Where to Find the Merge Duplicates Feature
- Go to Clients in the main menu.
- Select People.
- Click on the Merge Duplicates section.
How It Works
- BrightManager will automatically scan your client records and identify potential duplicates based on key information such as Title, Date of Birth, Email, and Telephone number.
- All possible duplicates will be displayed in the Merge Duplicates list.
Merging Duplicates
- Review the list of possible duplicate clients.
- For any clients you confirm are duplicates, simply click the Merge button next to their listing.
- All data from the duplicate records will be combined into a single, unified client file.
If Clients Are Not Duplicates
- If you see clients listed as possible duplicates but confirm that they are separate individuals, you do not need to take any action. Simply leave them in the list, and they will remain as individual client files.
