Overview
We have introduced a new Tasks tab within the Client Files, designed to help you manage your client-related tasks more efficiently. This feature was developed based on your feedback to provide a seamless, context-aware task management experience without leaving the client file you're working on.
Key Benefits
- Context-Aware Workflow: Manage tasks directly within the client file, reducing the need to switch screens or navigate away.
- Automatic Client-Specific View: See all tasks related to the current client automatically—no manual filtering required.
- Quick Task Creation: Easily create new tasks with client information already pre-populated.
- Full Task Management: Perform bulk actions such as completing or reassigning tasks, and update task details using the side panel, all inside the client file.
- Reduced Clicks: Streamline your workflow by accessing and managing tasks where you’re already working.
Where to Find the Clients file Tasks Tab
- The new Tasks tab is now the third option in your Client Files navigation menu.
- Simply click on this tab when viewing a client file to see all associated tasks.
How to Use the Client file Tasks Tab
- View Tasks:
- Open a client file.
- Click on the Tasks tab.
- You will see a list of all tasks linked to this client, without needing to apply any filters manually.
- Create a New Task:
- In the Tasks tab, click the New Task button.
- The new task form will appear with the current client details already filled in.
- Enter the task details and save.
- Manage Tasks:
- Use bulk actions like marking tasks complete or reassigning them.
- Open the side panel on any task to update its progress or details (works identically to the main Task List)
- All actions can be done without leaving the client file screen.
Any changes made or actions performed on the Client Task tab with instantly reflect on the main Task List.
Please note: The in Client file tasks tab does not have the columns, date or filter options like the main Task List.
