Release Summary
To support more effective Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting on time logged within a practice, we’ve introduced a new feature that allows users to set weekly work hours patterns and define time log-based targets
for both Overall Time Logged and Chargeable Time Logged.
This new weekly time-based structure has been designed with flexibility in mind, to accommodate the varied working arrangements commonly seen across the UK and Ireland.
Practices can define a default working pattern and time targets in bulk via the Staff page. Alternatively, users can configure individual working patterns and targets for each staff member directly via their profile edit pages.
The working pattern and target data provided by clients will feed into the Productivity by Staff
report, enabling more meaningful insights into team performance and utilisation.
Validations to note:
- The Working Hours feature is only accessible to users with full permissions.
- All targets are set in hours format, e.g.:
- 37.5 = 37 hours and 30 minutes
- 40.75 = 40 hours and 45 minutes
- Weekly Work Hours Target cannot exceed 168 hours.
- The value of the Weekly Time Logged Target must not exceed the Weekly Work Hours.
- The value of the Weekly Chargeable Time Logged Target must not exceed the Weekly Time Logged Target.
