BrightManager is pleased to announce the following updates made on our platform.
Release Summary
After releasing the new task list to V1 users, one of the common feedback we received was about the loss of Progress Note on the main task list which interrupts their workflow, causing them to switch back to the old (V1) task list. To win the users back and encourage them to use the new task list we have implemented Progress Notes on the main task list page helping them to stay organised, keeping their projects on track and making the most of their productivity.
Not all V1 users use workflow which means unless they convert their task breakdowns into workflow templates they will lose their task breakdown. For this reason we have introduced task breakdown to the new task list allowing users to break their tasks into smaller, manageable steps, making it easier to stay organised and focused.
Progress notes
To view Progress Notes, just disable workflow in Account Settings > Workflow, and make sure to turn off "Hide Progress Notes" in My Settings > Task.
If workflow is enabled, the Progress note column in the task list will be replaced by the workflow progress bar and vice versa.
Note: If Workflow is enabled, the progress note toggle in My Settings > Task will be hidden.
Task Breakdown
The task breakdown has been moved to the side panel enabling V1 users to manage their work more efficiently and helps them stay on top of their work.
This is a temporary solution until we enforce all users unto the new task list.
