BrightManager is pleased to announce the following updates made on our platform.
Release Summary
As part of our ongoing work to strengthen WIP, Invoicing, and Reporting capabilities, we are rolling out key user experience enhancements in Time Logging. This release forms part of the Time & Fees initiative and is designed to improve accuracy, efficiency, and usability.
These changes directly support the cycle:
Better time recording → More accurate WIP → Improved invoicing → Meaningful reporting → Strategic insights
Key Enhancements:
1. Quick Time Log Button
A new, prominent "New Time Log" button has been added on the timesheet page, allowing faster time entry without leaving the current context.
2. End Time Field with Smart Calculations
Users can now enter an end time for their time logs. The system automatically calculates the duration (or vice versa), simplifying time tracking and reducing manual errors.
3. Improved Modal Behaviour
The time recording modal will now automatically close after saving an entry, streamlining workflows. (Note: This excludes entries made via the Time Recording Widget, where the modal remains open for convenience.)
