BrightManager is pleased to announce the following updates made on our platform.
Release Summary
With the introduction of overall time logged and chargeable time logged targets in the section of the Staff page, practices can now report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to time tracking and chargeability.
The Productivity by Staff report displays each staff member’s actual logged time (both overall and chargeable) alongside their respective targets. It also calculates and clearly indicates whether individual targets have been met.
To further analyse the data, the report includes a drill-down feature that links to the Chargeable vs. Non-Chargeable by Staff report. This allows users to compare chargeable and non-chargeable time and view the corresponding monetary values. Within the Chargeable vs. Non-Chargeable by Staff report, users can also examine time entries broken down by various time types—including any custom time types specific to their practice.
Reporting Features to Note:
Date Range Filter
The date filter on the Productivity report is customised to automatically adjust to encompass the entire week of any date(s) selected by the user.
Example 1: If I select a start date of 23rd of July 2025 and an end date of 24th of July 2025, and apply it as a date filter. The report will automatically adjust the date filter to encompass the full week in which the selected dates fall. The report would cover the period from 21st of July 2025 to 27th of July 2025.
Example 2: If I select a start date of 17th of July 2025 and an end date of 24th of July 2025, and apply it as a date filter. The report will automatically adjust the date filter to encompass the full two weeks that the selected dates fall within. The report would cover the period from 14th of July 2025 to 27th of July 2025.
Notification to users: A yellow banner appears just below the date range filter to advise users that ‘
selecting a mid-week date will automatically adjust the date range to cover the full week (Monday to Sunday)’.
