BrightManager is pleased to announce the following updates made on our platform.
Release Summary
In the past, renaming a custom service led to its deletion, causing users to lose all associated tasks across their client base. Many users encountered this issue due to overlooking the warning message about the consequences of renaming custom services.
With our latest improvements, users can now rename their custom services confidently, knowing that all associated tasks will remain intact, saving valuable support and development time.
However, Please note that deleting a custom service cannot be undone.
To add a new custom service:
- Click on the “+ Custom service” button
- Enter the custom service name
- Click “Save Setting” button on the Account Settings page
Delete custom service:
- Click on the “delete” button next to the custom service name
- Click “Save Setting” button on the Account Settings page
- A warning and confirmation modal will pop up
- Click on “Update Services” to delete the custom service
Renaming Custom service:
- Enter a new custom service name in an existing field
- Click “Save Setting” button on the Account Settings page
- A warning and confirmation modal will pop up
- Click on “Update Services” to rename the custom service
