Q: We have a client who is a self-assessment tax client and also a director of a company. He wishes to use a different email address for each, as the company is managed by him on behalf of others. Is this possible, and how can we avoid personal emails being sent to the company address and vice versa?
A:
Yes, this is possible in BrightManager. You can assign a company email address for the company in the Company Details section and a separate email address for the main contact (the individual).
- Company Email Address: Use this for all company-related communications.
- Individual Email Address: Assign this to the main contact record for any personal correspondence or document signing.
How it works:
- Routine company emails will be sent to the company's email address.
- Document signing requests and communications specific to the individual will be sent to the main contact’s personal email.
- This ensures that personal emails are not sent to the company address, and company emails are not sent to the individual's private address.
If you want all emails to go to both addresses:
You can enter both email addresses in the relevant field, separated by a comma. Example:email1@domain.com, email2@domain.com
This way, both addresses will receive the relevant communications.
