Welcome to Insights Visuals, this guide will walk you through how to access, use and export the Insight Visuals.
1. Accessing Insights Visuals
- Navigate to the Tools menu in the main navigation bar.
- Select Insights from the dropdown menu.
You will then be taken to the Insights Landing Page, where you can create new reports or access saved reports.
You can create a new report or select ‘My Reports’ from the side bar on the left side of the screen.
Each report has its own Insights Visual, and these will be a bar chart or a Pie chart.
You will see the Visuals when you run the report you are wanting to run and then you will be presented with the Graph for the report.
You can minimise the Visual by clicking the little minimise arrow on the top right of the Visual clicking this will hide the chart and to bring it back just click the arrow again.
Using Insights Visuals
The Visuals are interactive, you will see at the top you colour coded chart options that relate to the Visuals data, by clicking on these it will toggle that data section off and adjust the chart accordingly if you want to narrow the data down more and click it again to turn it back on.
If you hover over the data within the chart, it will show you the data for that section of the chart.
The Visuals are responsive to the data, if you scroll below the chart to the report data you will see a option at the bottom for per page if you change this the Visuals data will adjust.
You may have it set to 25 data rows per page and the report you have run may be a lot more so you can change the accordingly and the visual data will adjust too.
Exporting Visuals.
You can export the Visuals, you will see the Export button at the top and by clicking this you will be given the option to Export the Data or the Chart. By click export Chart this will export the data into a PDF format for you.
Once you select Export Chart this will download a PDF file directly to your Device.
